Founded in 2002, CASI is a purchasing cooperative comprised of manufacturing companies in the chemical, composite, cosmetic, food, furniture, pharmaceutical, plastic and wood frame industries. Members are encouraged to purchase from designated suppliers, such as Thera-Plantes, who provide CASI with rebates for purchases made by members . At the end of each year, the rebates obtained from the suppliers are divided among the members, in proportion to their purchases.
